Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program (UROP) - Research Abroad Fellowship!
Get Involved in Research Workshops, multiple dates beginning January 12
Did an international topic spark your interest while abroad? Plan a faculty-mentored research project on your international area of interest and apply for the new UROP Research Abroad Fellowship for research funding. Opportunities are also available for publication in the UCI Undergraduate Research Journal and to present your research at the annual UCI Undergraduate Research Symposium. Join the Minor in Civic and Community Engagement - Enroll in Intro to Civic and Community Engagement, Uni Stu 10 in Winter quarter
Take what you have learned abroad and put it into community action and public service here at home. Develop knowledge, skills, and values to be agents of change in your community. The minor is open to all undergraduate majors on campus.
UCI XIV Dalai Lama Endowed Scholarship
Application Due: February 15, 2017
This scholarship supports exceptional students who are committed to advancing the values of compassion, contemplation, courage, interconnectedness, collaboration, humility and service who want to design and launch ambitious "compassion-in-action" projects in the areas of promoting cooperation across religions and cultures, diminishing violence, alleviating poverty, or protecting the environment. The scholarship awards one student up to $10,000 for UCI fees and up to $6,000 to support the project costs.

You've been abroad - now gain hands-on experience interning in a globally-focused internship in Washington D.C. Internships are available in virtually any field, including internship sites such as Amnesty International, Interpol, Center for International Policy, Center for Strategic and International Studies, Citizens for Global Solutions, US State Department, and many, many more! Internship opportunities are also available in Sacramento (UCCS).
