Happy Week Two! We are back with our first Meet us Happy Week Two! We are back with our first Meet us Monday of 2021. 🎉 This is Irene Morales, one of our Peer Advisors at the Study Abroad Center ✨

Irene is a senior double majoring in Education Sciences and Criminology, Law and Society at UCI. She studied abroad as a sophomore in Italy at the UC Rome Center 🇮🇹

“Taking a course on Roman Baroque art and architecture was one of my favorite experiences abroad! We never had class inside of the typical classroom. Instead, Professore Paolo had us meet on-site twice a week in front of beautiful historical monuments, churches, and museums. It was surreal being able to directly analyze and admire what I was learning about in the moment, such as Bernini's Fountain of the Four Rivers located within Piazza Navona (pictured behind me)” ⛲

Book a virtual advising appointment with a peer advisor today to begin your own study abroad journey! 💫
Finally week 10 Anteaters!💛💙 you got these f Finally week 10 Anteaters!💛💙 you got these finals! This is another feature Friday and this time, it is Sam Hince, a senior studying aerospace engineering at UCI. Sam had the opportunity to go abroad to Lund University in Lund, Sweden 🇸🇪

His favorite memory abroad:

“After irresponsibly traveling right before my finals, I ended up spending several nights (and the days in between) in an electronics lab trying to finish a project. Surprisingly though, I wasn't the only one and the friends I made over that project have since come to visit me in Irvine. The big take away is that wherever you are and whatever you are doing, it's the people that make or break it.”
