Want to learn more about the UCEAP program that allows you to study science and engineering at Tohoku University in northern Japan in a combination of coursework and lab research? Come to this information session and meet with Dr. Kasukabe, who is the chair of the Tohoku research student exchange programs! There will be free pizza!
The Tohoku Faculties of Engineering and Science emphasize learning and research through lab work, with seminars in fields including biochemistry, geology, aerospace engineering, materials science, computer science, agricultural science, and more.
This program offers UC students the opportunity to:
- join a lab team conducting cutting-edge research,
- conduct an individual study project and submit your research results in English,
- take regular university courses taught in English or Japanese in a wide range of disciplines,
- begin or continue to learn Japanese.
