Paris can be overwhelming in the best way. Busy streets packed cafés constant movement. But
every once in a while you end up in a moment that feels completely separate from all of that.
This walk was one of those moments.
The park was quiet almost still with fallen leaves covering the ground in warm autumn colors.
Everything felt muted. The sky the air even my thoughts. I walked slowly not really thinking
about where I was going just letting myself exist there for a bit.
In the distance there was this simple stone structure tucked between the trees. Nothing
dramatic nothing crowded around it. Just something old and calm blending into the landscape
like it had always been there and always would be. That’s something I keep noticing in Paris.
History doesn’t feel staged. It’s just part of everyday life.
There was no pressure to take photos, no itinerary to follow, no place I had to be next. It was
just a quiet walk a pause in the day a reminder that some of the best moments here are the
simplest ones
