Being abroad was such an eyeopening experience for me. It allowed me to connect with students from all over the world and I was able to experience new cultures as well. I really enjoyed being a representative of the US and of UCI and enjoyed stepping out of my comfort zone.
Studying abroad has been an experience I never stop thinking about. The people I met, and historical attractions I saw permanently changed my trajectory of the world and how everything always works out.
Study abroad was such a valuable and impactful experience for me, especially being a first generation college student because I was able to immerse myself in a completely different culture and setting. This allowed me travel to different parts of the world and expose myself to such unique and amazing experiences that taught me about what the world has to offer. I was able to grow as a person and truly enjoy the company of myself. Not only did I leave with so many unforgettable memories but also met so many wonderful people throughout my time abroad.
