Pre-Departure Requirements

Predeparture Requirements

After both being approved through UCIAbroad and accepted to your program, you must complete the following steps:

  1. Complete the post-acceptance/pre-departure section within the UCI Abroad portal.
  2. Complete the pre-departure requirements of your program.
    • For UCEAP participants, these are in your UCEAP portal.
    • Contact your program directly if you have any questions.
  3. Attend the Study Abroad Center pre-departure orientation the quarter before you depart.
    • You will receive an email invitation once the Study Abroad Center sets the dates and times.
